IN-HOME ABA THERAPY

Research suggests that the best results occur when ABA services are provided in the environment in which the behavior occurs. In-home ABA therapy provides a natural environment for children to gain and practice skills. In-home therapy is a great choice for teaching independent living skills, addressing challenging behaviors that are occurring at home and can also allow therapists to work on strengthening social skills with family and close friends. In-home ABA therapy can also help parents or caregivers play a more active role in their child's treatment. Parents can easily observe sessions, which can help better understand how to support their child’s skill development. This, among many reasons, is why currently all of Atlas Behavior Services ABA therapy occurs in-home.
